The buyer would have had to take
The buyer would have had to take over Rs 24,000 crore debt or the carrier along
with over Rs 8,000 crore of liabilities. As per latest data, in 2016-17, two
subsidiaries of Air India — AIATSL and Air India Express Ltd — posted
profits."The Expression of Interest (EoI) for bidders would be floated soon
after the GoM clears the EoI," the sources told PTI.Some of the other
subsidiaries of Air India include Air India Charters Ltd, IAL Airport Services
Ltd, Airline Allied Services Ltd, Air India Engineering Services Ltd and Hotel
Corporation of India Ltd. The company is engaged in the business of providing
repairing, maintaining, servicing, refurbishing providing engineering services
of and for aircraft.06 crore in 2016-17.Industrial/Business operations of AIATSL
include rendering airport ground handling services, including passenger, ramp,
security and cargo handling for Air India. The stake sale plan follows the
decision of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley led ministerial panel in June to make
the airline competitive, but cutting down debt and raising resources by selling
land assets and other subsidiaries..Strategic sale of Air India Air Transport
Service (AIATSL), which provides ground handling services, is being planned as
part of the turnaround scheme for Air India which is reeling under a debt burden
of Rs 48,000 crore at end of March 2017.
While AIATSL earned Rs 61. The official
sources said strategic sale of AIATSL is in the works. The government had
originally proposed to offload 76 per cent equity share capital of the national
carrier as well as transfer the management control to private players. The Group
of Ministers (GoM) had decided to revive Air India after the governments offer
to sale 76 per cent stake in the airline failed to attract any bidder earlier
this year. AIATSL was incorporated in June 2003 with the objective of carrying
on the business of providing all types of services at airport. However, the
stake sale failed to attract any bidders when the bidding process got completed
on May 31.Besides, catering services provider AISATS — a 50:50 joint venture
between Air India and SATS Ltd — too posted profit of Rs 66.In June, the GoM
then decided not to go ahead with Air India stake sale in an election year.Under
the administrative control of Ministry of Civil Aviation, AIATSL is 100 per cent
subsidiary of Air India.New Delhi: The government is mulling strategic sale of

Common pollutants found in them are particulate matter
Of all of the air pollutants, fine particulate matter has the greatest effect on
human health. It is an environmental health problem that affects people
worldwide, but low- and middle-income countries disproportionately experience
this burden. The basic ways to reduce air pollution include educating friends,
family and neighbourhood regarding:-Dangers of air pollution, harmful effects of
smoking, both active and passive-Safe cooking practices, use of efficient
stoves-Benefits of efficient, low-polluting vehicle or a zero-emission electric
car-Maintaining your personal vehicles and keeping the tires properly
inflated-Limiting idling at traffic lights-Replacing energy-hungry incandescent
lights with compact florescent light bulbs-Opting for fans instead of air
conditioning-Adding insulation to your homes-Washing laundry in cold water and
line dry-When ready to replace, looking for Energy Star appliances-Microwaving
or using toaster for small meals-Eating locally, shopping at farmers markets China
pharmacy cooler unit Suppliers and buying organic produce-Using durable and
sustainable bags and keeping them in our car so that we are never caught off
guard-Walking or riding a bike when possible-Recycling paper, plastic, metals
and organic materials-Initiating Walking clubs, Cycling clubs, Nature walk
clubs, Car-pooling clubs, Tree plantation, Gardening and anything that help
reduce air pollution and increase green cover.
Common pollutants found in them
are particulate matter, carbon monoxide, ozone, nitrogen dioxide and sulphur
dioxide. Others are so small they can only be detected using an electron
microscope..Some of the most common sources of air pollution are household
combustion devices, motor vehicles, industrial facilities, unpaved roads, forest
fires etc.New Delhi: On the occasion of National Pollution Prevention Day on
December 2, here are a few tips to keep children protected from from air
pollution, one of worlds largest environmental health risks. Some particles, such
as dust, dirt, soot, or smoke, are large or dark enough to be seen with the
naked eye.Physicians throw light on most usual sources of Air Pollution and ways
to prevent children from it. Particulate matter (PM): PM stands for particulate
matter (also called particle pollution), the term for a mixture of solid
particles and liquid droplets found in the air

We realise that this is not enough
Pakistan Air Force F16s, which had come to target Indian military installations
on 27 February 2019 were armed with the Beyond Visual Range (BVR) missile AMRAAM
which has higher range than that of the R-77 on IAF’s Su 30 MKI. He said India’s
out-of-the-box response reflected in the Balakot airstrikes forced the rewriting
of many doctrines across the LoC and the adversary has to think 100 times for
any future misadventures.Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria said IAF is enhancing its
weapon capability, sensor and network capabilities and enhance ability for
secure communication. "But weapon edge is very important," he said."It (weapon
edge) did not materialised at the time of Balakot and it will soon materialise
with the induction of Rafale," said Air Force chief. Terrorists like Hafiz Saeed
who were treated like VIPs and heroes, have been put behind bars. "We allowed
that to slip and thereafter it took a decade and half in our struggle to acquire
similar or better capabilities," he said.
We realise that this is not enough and
unless Pakistan is made accountable, it will continue with its previous policy
of duplicity and deceit. Bhadauria said on Friday that the crucial lesson from
Balakot air strike and air skirmishes after that is, India should not allow
weapon edge over Pakistan to "slip back" once it is achieved with the induction
of Rafale fighter jets and other weapon upgradation including indigenous
missiles.K.Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria said that the takeaways from the Balakot
air strike is it is important to have weapon and technology edge in air
engagement, especially in a deeply-contested area. All attempts are being made
to work in this direction," added Mr Singh. He said that the responses displayed
India’s defence capability and affirmed its right to defend itself against
terrorism.Presently, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) does not have missiles to counter
Meteor missiles.S.Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria said that Balakot air strike
showed there exists a space below the conventional conflict boundaries, where
IAF can be utilised for targeting, yet have controlled escalation..New Delhi:
Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief R.However, 36 Rafale fighter jets which India has
purchased (first four will land on May 2020) come with Meteor air-to-air
missiles that have a range of 150 kilometres. He said that Indian Air Force had
an edge over Pakistan Air Force in terms of Beyond Visual Range Missile
capability at the time of Kargil. He said that once we get back this edge, it is
important China

back."Our approach to terrorism was and will remain a judicious combination of
clinical military action and mature and responsible diplomatic outreach," said
defence minister.Meanwhile, defence minister Rajnath Singh said surgical strike
of 2016 and Balakot airstrikes of 2019 were not just military strikes but a
strong message to the adversary that terror infrastructure across the border
cannot be used as safe haven to wage low-cost war against India. "We have
recently seen the impact of collective diplomatic and financial pressure on

Start by getting one knee towards the chest
Start by getting one knee towards the chest and alternating with the other as
fast as possible. Make sure you do not raise your hips up to the ceiling and do
not dip them down.— The writer is a Bengaluru-based fitness trainer. If you are
a beginner, make sure that you use a smaller box and step up with one leg at a
time, instead of jumping.Battle ropeHold both ends of the rope and stand in a
partial squat. Ideally, it’s good to perform this movement in different
modulations.Plank Shoulder tapPlank Shoulder tapStart from a raised plank, arms
directly in line with the shoulders, abs tight and back straight. Perform a jump
to get on top of the box, try to land in a squat position and stand all the way
up until you reach full extension of your hip and knee.Mountain climbersGet into
a raised plank with your arms directly underneath your shoulders and head to toe
in one straight line. Maintain a good speed and make sure that the waves created
in the rope travel up to the end of the rope.Box JumpsStart this movement by
standing close to the box with your feet comfortably apart. Make sure that your

ropes develop impressive metabolic results in limited time, as they demand more
oxygen and improve the ability of the body to uptake oxygen. The end result is
more stamina and higher endurance. Maintain a straight back throughout this

The air conditioner by Ant studio
The air conditioner by Ant studio that has been installed at the main driveway
of Deki electronics is turning heads. We can even integrate this technique with
forms that could redefine the way we look at cooling systems, a necessary yet
ignored component of a building’s functionality. Multiple terracotta cones have
been put together in order to form a beehive structure. While air conditioning
can be achieved via several natural and artificial methods, the most popular
method — electronic air conditioner — is out of reach of majority of Indian
population which is still struggling to make ends meet. The making of the
teracotta conditionerSo using the air from the generator to their advantage, the
studio thought of designing a device that was not only practical but also
artistically appealing. Imagine the heat coming from the generators on top of a
climate where the temperatures are already reaching 45 degree Celsius. But the
designing didn’t happen in a day. Teracotta is a very robust material but we
needed to get cones of similar thickness. The founder of the studio, Monish
Siripurapu wants to change this. "There are long power cuts in the area and the
genset had to run.Necessity is the mother of invention.. It is best suited for
hot and dry climate and we are experimenting on how to adapt it to other
climatic situations as well," he says, adding, "Findings from this attempt
opened up a lot more possibilities.
The founder of Ant Studio, Monish
SiripurapuWhile the idea is not a new one and has been used over the ages, this
particular design ensures that maximum surface area is created to achieve better
results. When the factory workers of Deki Electronics in Noida were struggling
with the Indian summer and scorching heat, a Delhi-based design studio — Ant
Studio came to their rescue. "We had to go back to the textbooks in order to
come up with an optimal design. Every installation could be an art piece. It is
not a zero energy project as there is a small gererator attached to it. "There
are multiple motives behind this design." But the workers had to be there as lot
of material is loaded and unloaded from the vehicles on that spot. Apart from
the obvious financial constraints, the present electronic air conditioners also
affect the environment adversely. But it has a low energy consumption," explains
Siripurapu. The studio also plans to take this design across the country,
creating better living conditions for the poor population of the nation as well
as helping potters and creating new jobs in the process. When water is poured
over this structure, it cools down the air passing through them and provides a
cooling effect."They are planning to take it to the humid climate of Mumbai as
well and will be experimenting with China
Hig-temp Cabin/Crane Cooling Units Manufacturers the design there. We
started working with terracotta and ran a lot of tests. "Our biggest parameter
in the entire design process was to use the wind pressure, as we based this
design on evaporation. It was impossible to even stand there, so imagine working
at this place. While they were handmade, we tried to get optimal results which
were close to our calculations," he says. He says, "It was in the heat of June
and July that we visited this factory. This is an ecological artistic and
energy-efficient air-conditioning solution, and can be adapted to all areas
where there is sufficient wind. It was a health hazard for the workers," he
explains
